Over the past couple of years I have been fortunate to meet a handful of veterans and learn their stories through Labs for Liberty. My family has been a volunteer and foster working to train a dog specifically for each of these veterans. It has been such a rewarding experience to train these dogs, and then get to see how much happiness and pure joy they bring to their forever warrior. However, our job is never done. We must continue to support those who serve us.
At Labs for Liberty it is our passion to serve our Veterans. Over the course of the last 22 months we have paired over 35 service dogs with Veterans in 16 states while remaining a 100% volunteer organization.
With our help, Veterans and their families can achieve a new healthy normal. Lives can be saved, relationships mended, and families made whole again. Your contribution allows Labs for Liberty (labsforliberty.org) to provide custom trained service dogs, free of charge, to Veterans suffering from PTSD/TBI/MST and physical disabilities. These four legged battle buddies empower Veterans, allowing them to rebuild their lives. Please join me and Labs for Liberty and help support someone in need.
